On the 5th, 6th and 7th of May Sabor Salou, the great gastronomic event of the Costa Dorada, comes back

On the 5th, 6th and 7th of May the Salou Jaume I will host the seventh edition of the gastronomic Fira Sabor Salou, an event dedicated to proximity and gourmet restaurant products. It is the best gastronomic event on the Costa Dorada, with more than 36,000 tastings served in three days. An event to share with friends and go with family, with proposals for all ages.
The objective is to make known the quality and diversity of Salou's offer, to present local restaurateurs and to offer companies an ideal platform to be able to promote and sell their products. This year, there are about forty participating establishments, most of them located in Salou.
Sabor Salou will open its doors on Friday 5th May, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 6th May, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sunday 7th May, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In this Fira the attendants will be able to buy “Salouets”, some tickets that later they will be able to change by tastings. The “salouets" can be purchased at the information points of Sabor Salou at the rate of 3 tastings and a Sabor Salou drink for 5 €, or 3 tastings without drink for 4 €.
During the presentation of Sabor Salou, the councilor for Citizen Participation, Julia Gómez, said that the sample hopes to surpass the more than 35,000 participants last year, while the Mayor, Pere Granados, said that the Sabor Salou is a good example of a action to attract local tourism, as one of the objectives of the exhibition is to attract visitors from neighboring towns, ready to know Salou and, above all, its gastronomy.
Sabor Salou, apart from the gastronomic offer, is complemented by activities and workshops that will be held during the weekend. In addition to the gastronomy you can also taste the first brand of artisan beer made entirely in Salou.
