Salou. Costa Dorada. 01 June 2017. The historic Tennis Club Salou is transformed into the modern and renewed Tennis Salou H2O, with facilities totally reformed and equipped with sports equipment of last technology.

With its renovation, this center is located in the vanguard of the sector and it becomes one of the best sports centers of the province and the Costa Dorada.

The new facilities of the center include: a heated swimming pool, summer pools, jacuzzi, sauna, steam baths, guided halls, fitness room, cycling room, solarium, 10 tennis courts, 10 paddle tennis, health and wellness center and Exclusive dressing rooms, group, restaurant and social area.

Last May 31, the Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, along with Sports Councilor Dani Lopez and the director of the Tennis Salou H2O opened the new facilities, which have been running for several months and already have more than a thousand members.

Toni Lamua, the center's strategic director, commented that both the partners and the investors of the project are very satisfied with the recovery of this club, referent in the 70's. The rehabilitation project of the club has cost around 3 million euros. That will be profitable with the increase of partners through the offers and the promotions of inscription.

The Tennis Salou H2O aims to be a family center, with a pleasant atmosphere and in an unbeatable environment. This center specializing in salut and sport wants to open up ways of promotion to different European countries and become the center of reference of the entire Costa Dorada.

The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, congratulated all investors for the effort in the renovation of the center that will bring numerous benefits for the Salou society and for the image of Salou. Granados also wanted to highlight the club's long history since the 70s, which has hosted great sportsmen such as Sergi Bruguera, Jordi Arrese, Jimmy Arias or Andrea Agassi, and has wished this center to become a site outstanding for great sporting events.
