Registered teams and environmental news
In total,
111 teams participate in this edition of the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada, 67 participate in the world championship and 21 in the European championship. To these we must add the 23 that participate in the 3 single-brand championships that are also disputed.
This year the organization of the Rally goes a step further from the environmental point of view and for the first time
cars with hybrid technologies will be used. In addition, synthetic fuel of non-fossil origin is used, with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions.
Other environmental aspects that are affected are the
reduction of energy consumption, water and waste generation, and the correct management of what is generated.
Lastly, this year, before the competition, a labeled RallyRACC vehicle will be driven around before the competition to spread messages about everyone's environmental responsibility among the spectators.
In addition to the
Salou City Council and PortAventura, the RallyRACC has the collaboration of the
Tarragona Provincial Council, the Costa Daurada Tourist Board, the Salou Tourist Board and the General Secretary of Sport of the Generalitat de Catalunya .
