Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant collected more than 16,000 euros for the TV3 Marathon

Hospitalet de l'Infant. Costa Dorada. The residents of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant has shown again that they are supportive, with the celebration of the TV3 Marathon. Proof of this is money they have raised so far for this initiative, this year dedicated to the regeneration and transplantation of organs and tissues: more than 16,000 euros (this figure must be added is still the economic contributions of people attend other events planned for this Christmas, including the singing of carols in the streets of the town). The Councillor for Culture and Festivals, Angels Perez, said the amount collected and congratulated all those who have contributed to this worthy cause. In this regard, said: "The events have been organized very successful and the town has responded very well to this call for solidarity, despite the economic crisis, which should be especially grateful." To collect this amount of money, local authorities, schools and the general public has organized, so altruistic, with the support of the City, thirty minutes during the month of December. Most of these activities took place last weekend, 17 and 18 December 2011, although there were also the days before.
