Next Generation: 11 millones de euros para mejorar la vida de residentes y visitantes

En Salou se vive bien pero aún se vivirá mejor porqué el Ayuntamiento de Salou ha recibido 11 millones de euros, provinientes de los Fondos Next Generation, para hacer un municipio más sostenible y resiliente desde el punto de vista ambiental, económico y social. Los proyectos de 2021 ya están ejecutados en el 90 % y los de 2023, en el 45 %.

Salou cuenta con excelentes instalaciones para la práctica de diferentes disciplinas deportivas. Además es el primer municipio que obtuvo la certificación de Turismo Deportivo, y recientemente ha sumado la de Cicloturismo y Golf. El resultado de esta apuesta es que en 2023 Salou acogerá 19 actividades y competiciones deportivas entre enero y diciembre. ¿Quieres saber cuales son?

Salou open six football fields in 2012 to lead the sports tourism in Costa Dorada

Between the spring and summer of 2012, Salou add to its offering a large sports facilities promoted by private and dedicated to soccer practice. Xavier Blasi, CEO of campsites Sangulí Salou and Cambrils Park, is also the promoter of this new project, which is expected to attract in the first year of operation more than 200 soccer teams from northern and central Europe. The initiative wants to position Salou in sports tourism and open the municipality and the Costa Dorada to the seasonality of the tourism season, and complement the offer of sun and beach.
