La fiesta mayor de verano de Salou incluye los conciertos de Sergio Dalma, de Mojinos Escozíos y de la cantante Soraya, como principales reclamos.

Salou abrirá seis campos de fútbol en 2012 para liderar el turismo deportivo en la Costa Dorada

Entre la primavera y el verano del año 2012, Salou sumará a su oferta de equipamientos un gran complejo deportivo promovido por la iniciativa privada y dedicado principalmente a la práctica del fútbol. Xavier Blasi, director general de los campings Sangulí Salou y Cambrils Park, es también el promotor de este nuevo proyecto, que espera atraer durante el primer año de funcionamiento más de 200 equipos de fútbol del norte y centro de Europa. La iniciativa quiere posicionar Salou en el turismo deportivo y abrir el municipio y la Costa Dorada hacia la desestacionalización del turismo de temporada, y complementar la oferta de sol y playa.
