Around 280 puntaires gather on the 17th local meeting

Salou. Costa Dorada. 28th May 2012. Women's group has organized a year event at the Espigó del moll.  A total of 44 groups of puntaires from all over Catalonia, but also most of Tarragona Lerida and Barcelona have gathered this morning at the seventeenth meeting of the puntaires who organizes every year the Women's Group of Salou. In total almost 280 lace makers have exhibited their art in the making tatting and have spent a great time sharing experiences with other schools and associations. All participants-mostly women-have taken a record of the meeting held in addition also a raffle where the mayor, Pere Granados, and other councilors of government have presented the prizes.
