Starts the second edition of Salou Actiu with over 450 registrations

Salou. Costa Dorada. The Department of Culture and Festivals and the Department of Children and Youth Town Hall have organized in Salou new courses for the Salou Actiu, a second quarter that will be held during January, February and March. " In this new edition, Salou Actiu Winter 2010, enrolled more than 450 people of all ages. Today Monday 18 January and throughout the week will be starting the majority of workshops and courses which will last approximately 3 months. Among the most popular workshops there are in computing some such as: an introduction to Windows, Introduction to Office programs and Internet beginners, the workshop and herbs were the first that were depleted of their seats. The Councilor of Culture and Events, Isabel Aguilera, explained that "due to high demand we are proposing to double some of the workshops and courses in order to absorb the demand that they had." Other courses have been offered for the first time this year and have had great success among salouencs were: introduction to digital photography, furniture restoration workshop and the workshop on bonsai care.
