            The Boella propose the Special  Night of Biodynamic and Macrobiotics

                Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 11 July 2013. In  the calendar of activities organized regularly Boella, for the 18th of  July it proposes a special night to discover two Macrobiotics and  biodynamic growing trends but rooted in ancient traditions.
The  evening will begin with two exhibitions: one on macrobiotic  nutritionist by Belen Garcia of Casa Pia de Reus, and the other on  biodynamic by Joan Ramon Escoda, owner of Bodegas Escoda Sanahuja, the  most important development in Catalonia wine with biodynamic farming techniques.
Then  you can sample macrobiotic menu prepared by chef Manu Ramirez Boella,  following the directions of Belen Garcia and paired with wines from  Celler Escoda-Sanahuja.
The menu is as follows:
Appetizers green
 
- The tempura zucchini flower
- Hummus with toasted rye bread
Starters
 
- Salad with avocado cannelloni corn
- Ratatouille vegetables with crispy rice and tofu
Second dishes
 
- Calls seaweed with tuna steak
- Seitan tahini sauce
Desserts
 
Wines (El Celler Escoda-Sanahuja)
 
- The Bassots white, Conca de Barbera (Chenin white)
- Black stalls, Conca de Barbera (Grenache, Carignan and Sumoll)
- The Llopetera black, Conca de Barbera (Pinot Noir)
The  macrobiotic philosophy is based on a set of rules and tips designed to  pursue a healthy life and sustainable from a healthy diet without  artificial or industrial products. Meanwhile,  biodynamic agriculture avoids any pesticides, herbicides or  preservatives that are not natural and is governed by "biodynamic  calendar" based on zodiac signs and the position of the stars to perform  crops and work culture.
