Tarragona is presented in Switzerland

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. This week, Tarragona tourism in Switzerland is presented. The Municipal Tourism Tarragona has shifted this week in Switzerland and, as a city member of the Group Heritage Cities of Spain (GCPHE), participate in presentations and workshops that are taking place in the cities of Geneva and Zurich from 16 until 20 November. The aim is to increase share in the marketing of package tours operators, travel agencies, PCO's and DMC's Swiss in Spain. This will always work from the maximum segmentation of audiences by promoting tourism packages increasingly individualized and personalized. This starting point makes the presence of Tarragona to the sales channels. The launch of new products for each of the target audiences and potential expansion will result in the Swiss market, one of the largest emitters of tourism in Spain, according to the Tourism Institute of Spain (TURESPAÑA). Spain is the fourth most visited by the Swiss. The total cost for the Swiss in Spain grew 8.6% in 2007. Despite the decline in their average stay, the greater availability of Swiss tourist economy and the largest percentage of business generated an average daily expenditure of 97.4 euros, according to FRONTUR, 2007. These results are explained by the high degree of satisfaction, 77% rate in Spain between 8 and 10. Most leisure travelers, and package air operator (24.3%) or for leisure and road (23.9%).
