Salou is ready to enjoy the Festa Major d'Hivern

Salou. Costa Dorada. 23 January 2018. Salou prepares to enjoy his Festa Major d'Hivern, which will begin next Thursday, January 25. From that date, the municipality is immersed in a festive atmosphere that will last eleven days. More than seventy activities, organized by the Department of Culture and Festivals, although they have also collaborated Sports, Youth, Children, Social Action or the Antenna of Knowledge of the Rovira i Virgili University. The starting shot of this festive race will be the proclamation that will be pronounced in the TAS and that will be in charge of the comic actor Javi Sancho. The city council has presented the festive program that includes the activities organized in collaboration with the municipal entities.

Among all the proposals, stands out the one that will welcome the new "pubillas" and "hereus" of 2018. Thus, on February 3, considered as the Big Day of the Winter Festival, has as its maximum exponent the party of the Coso Blanco when a lot of people of the municipality take to the streets in the traditional parade of the floats that this year arrive in the 38th edition. It will feature the participation of 28 themed carriages that will move more than 2,500 people and which, year after year, attract thousands and thousands of spectators from all over the country and foreign visitors who want to get to know the party up close. In addition, it will be broadcast live by TAC12 that, like last year, will hold a contest that will reward the most television group.
