On Sunday, 19 July, Plaça de la Pau will become the meeting point for football fans, residents and visitors to watch the FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina live.
Salou City Council will install a giant screen in Plaça de la Pau so everyone can enjoy the match, which kicks off at 9:00 p.m.
This is not the first time the municipality has organised such an event. In July 2024, a giant screen was installed in Plaça de la Pau to broadcast a UEFA European Championship (Euro 2024) match. More recently, on 14 July, the initiative was repeated for the FIFA World Cup semi-final between Spain and France. On both occasions, supporters celebrated Spain's victories in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere with a large turnout of fans.
