Friday, March 23, 2012 at  10pm The Piano Quintet and Guitar Quiroga Quartet Jose Enrique Bagaria, piano Carles Trepat, guitar The classic quartet formation underlies much of the chamber music of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. In this concert, one of the best quartets of the current scene offers a quartet of Joseph Haydn, a composer who pushed this group for good, and two wonders of the creation of a quartet with other instruments: the brilliant Guitar Quintet "Fandango" by Luigi Boccherini and Quintet op. 34 for piano by Johannes Brahms. The soloists of the quintets, Jose Enrique and Carles Trepat Bagaría, are an important reference among musicians with the greatest Catalan artist of the moment.
