La historia milenaria de Salou, nuevo producto turístico

Muy cerca ya de la Semana Santa, el Ayuntamiento de Salou ha presentado “Salou, la historia continua”, el nuevo producto turístico que incide en la historia milenaria de la capital de la Costa Daurada. El proyecto se completará próximamente con la futura Ruta del Neolítico, que ya se está desarrollando, para señalar alto y claro que Salou es mucho más que un destino de sol y playa.

El Ayuntamiento de Salou ha dado a conocer la programación del Teatro Auditorio de Salou (TAS) esta temporada 2026, en que destaca el talento local y grandes nombres de la escena como Joan Pera, Albert Pla, Peyu, Imanol Árias, María Barranco y José Sacristán. La propuesta de Helena Frías entorno el patrimonio modernista y noucentista de Salou ha sido la ganadora de la segunda edición del Souvenir Arte 2026, el concurso impulsado por la Cátedra de Innovación e investigación Turística de Salou. Con el título “Salou.Modernismo Dorado”, la propuesta recoge los principales y más conocidos edificios modernistas y noucentistes de la capital de la Costa Daurada.

El Coso Blanco de Salou 2026 ha vuelto a demostrar que es la mejor fiesta al aire libre de la Costa Dorada y, posiblemente de Catalunya. Más de 55.000 personas según el Ayuntamiento se han reunido en el Paseo Jaume I para disfrutar del gran espectáculo de luz, sonido, música, buen ambiente, y un gran desfile con 28 carrozas y casi 7.000 personas disfrazadas participando directamente en el desfile.

Salou has the first smart pool in Catalonia of the EPIC network

The municipal swimming pool of Salou has released an advanced system of intelligent sensors that allows to monitor in real time the activity of the swimmers, reinforce the safety and the experience of the users, and make a more efficient management of the equipment. With this technology, Salou is the first municipality in Catalonia that integrates its pool in the Spanish Network of Connected Smart Swimming Pools (EPIC).

Salou has switched on its Christmas lights and unveiled a new Christmas tree, which has a more natural appearance than in previous years and is taller, reaching 12 meters in height. Additionally, the City Council has extended the Christmas lighting throughout the entire municipality and reinforced it in the main commercial hub of the Costa Dorada capital.
