This summer the library is closer to the beaches and pools

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. Eight populations of Tarragona during the summer months provide the library service to the beach or pool. The aim of this service, known as biblioplatges bibliopiscines and is approaching the bottom of public libraries during the holidays to users of beaches and pools. Apart from the loan service, some libraries have activities scheduled around the time can be read as the story tells-organized by the Library of Cambrils, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 pm in the park Pinaret. This is another initiative of the Department of Culture and Media of the Generalitat of Catalonia undertakes throughout the year to promote reading habits among the population. "We are convinced that reading is a fundamental means of access to knowledge by the public and a good way to enjoy the holidays," says Adam Manye, Director of Regional Services. Providing service to those they have acquired the habit of reading throughout the year is one of the objectives of this proposal, along with the opportunity to get closer to representing different public, in order to capture them as new library users the rest of the year.
