Halloween has arrived in PortAventura with a spooky novelty: the Cursed Island, 1 km of terror and 35 minutes of fear in the most terrifying passage in Europe. But the park also thinks of families, so until November 17, more than 24,000 pumpkins, 280 characters and creatures, 9 shows and vampire menus await you to enjoy the best Halloween.

The hotel chain Best Hotels, which currently manages 13 hotels in Salou and Cambrils and 20 more in the rest of Spain, has carried out a profound renovation of three of its establishments located on the Costa Daurada.

About fifteen artists will participate in the 18th Exhibition of Local Artists that is held annually coinciding with the Winter Festival of Salou. The show takes place at the Centro Cultural de la Torre Vella and will open its doors on Friday, February 1st. The inauguration will be in charge of the mayor Pere Granados.

Local police vehicles in Salou will now have three new defibrillators that will allow them to act quickly in the event of medical emergencies related to cardiac arrest. The devices come to join the teams that already exist in the outdoor spaces and that represent a total investment of 11,000 euros.

On Saturday, November 24, Salou will celebrate the Blood Donation Marathon with the slogan "The superexperience of blood donation, much more than women". The Blood Bank invites you to enjoy the feeling of being a donor on this important day. The Auditorium Theater of Salou will be the main stage of this new donation marathon.

Salou has since August 13 with the first defibrillator installed on public roads in the municipality. It has been located in the Plaza de Francesc Germà, popularly known as the Plaza de la Fuente Luminosa. The new DEA point has been located in a known location, centrally located and easy to locate.

The festival of Sant Jordi will host this year a number of activities organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Salou, which will have a family and cultural spirit.
